How do I get to a camp from the airport?

The short answer
Most camps will arrange an airport transfer if you ask, and it is usually the least stressful option on day one. Otherwise the standard route is an official airport taxi or a ride-hailing app, and the journey from the nearest airport is typically under an hour outside Bangkok.
Ask the camp before you arrive rather than after. Even camps that do not advertise transfers usually know a driver, and having a name at arrivals after a long flight is worth the small premium.
If you are getting your own transport, use the official taxi counter or a ride-hailing app rather than the person who approaches you inside the terminal. This is not a Thailand issue, it is an airport issue everywhere.
Have the camp address written in Thai on your phone. Foreign camp names are not always recognised, and the street address is.
