Among the ones that do, a month of unlimited training runs 3,999 to 18,000 baht across the 26 camps that publish one, a week 1,800 to 5,500 across 21 and a single group session 250 to 800 across 31. Every band on this page is the lowest and the highest figure camps actually printed, never an average and never converted from another currency, and it carries the count it was drawn from.

The month column is not one product

All figures are Thai baht. The column headings are ours, because the camps do not use the same words, but every number under them is the camp's own.

The widest spread on this page is the month, 3,999 to 18,000 baht, and both ends of it are in the same city. The low end is Bangkok Fight Lab's striking membership, bought by people who already live in Bangkok and train around a job. The high end is Sitsongpeenong, where the month is two sessions a day across 25 days and where, unless you live in Thailand, the camp will not let you train while staying somewhere else. Close to four times the money, and almost none of the difference is the training.

If you want one number to argue with, it is 10,000 baht, the middle of the months 26 of 44 listed camps publish. It is the middle figure and never an average of the two ends, so it is a rate a camp actually charges, and it moves when the camps move their prices rather than when we decide something about the market. 4 of those camps print exactly that figure, 11 print less and 11 print more, which is what a middle figure is for.

Halfway between the cheapest and the dearest figure is not the figure camps print, and in every one of the 4 rates wide enough to draw, halfway sits above the middle. Rate by rate in baht, halfway first and the middle figure second: one group session 525 and 450, a week unlimited 3,650 and 3,500, a month unlimited 11,000 and 10,000, one private 1,050 and 1,000. Where halfway sits above the middle, the dearest camp is further above the middle than the cheapest is below it, so a rate quoted end to end reads dearer than the camps inside it. The room per night rate is left out of the drawing because 4 of the 44 print one, and a line drawn across 4 figures implies a run it does not have.

The single session behaves the opposite way. 31 camps publish one and the whole country sits inside 250 to 800 baht. That is the useful asymmetry here: a drop-in buys one class at one gym, so the figure means roughly the same thing wherever you read it, and a month is a bundle of training, access, sometimes a bed and sometimes a visa, so it does not.

The figure that decides most budgets is the one almost nobody prints. 23 camps say they have rooms on site. 4 publish what a room costs, and those 4 land within 440 baht of each other.
