TChalong, Phuket / Large camp
The largest and best-known training complex in Thailand, running Muay Thai alongside a full MMA and BJJ programme. Big enough that you can always find training partners at your level, and structured enough that a total beginner is never left guessing. The trade-off is scale: it feels like a fitness resort rather than a Thai gym, and it is priced accordingly.

SBThalang, Phuket / Small camp
Smaller camp in the quieter north of Phuket, away from the Rawai and Chalong concentration. Being out of the tourist strip is the point: fewer distractions, smaller groups, more trainer attention. Less convenient if you want nightlife or a big social scene.

B&Bang Tao, Phuket / Mid-size camp
Based on the north-west coast near Bang Tao beach rather than in the southern camp cluster, which changes the whole trip: quieter beaches, more of a resort setting, longer drive to the Chalong and Rawai scene.

EAo Nang, Krabi / Small camp
One of the few established camps in Krabi, which is the appeal: mainland scenery and climbing on the doorstep without the density of the Phuket scene. Smaller trainee pool means fewer partners at your exact level.

The main established training option on Koh Samui, running a mixed programme with fitness classes alongside Muay Thai. Works well for a training-and-holiday split, or for someone travelling with a partner who is not training.

DSri Thanu, Koh Phangan / Small camp
Koh Phangan camp with a strong long-stay and wellness crossover crowd. Relaxed pace and a small group size. Progress depends heavily on who else happens to be on the island that month, which cuts both ways.

SSan Kamphaeng, Chiang Mai / Mid-size camp

HChiang Mai / Mid-size camp
Chiang Mai camp running a mix of tourist-friendly sessions and a serious fighter track. Reasonable middle ground for someone who wants to train hard without committing to a pro camp environment.
