Before you go
What vaccinations do I need for Thailand?
Updated 2026-09-01
The short answer
Ask a travel health clinic or your own doctor at least a month before you fly, because some courses need time. We are not qualified to give medical advice and any list published here would go stale.
What is worth flagging when you speak to them is what you will actually be doing, because training changes the picture slightly. You will have open skin from mat burn and shin knocks, you will be sweating into shared equipment, and you may be somewhere rural rather than in a resort.
Tell them how long you are staying and which region. The answer for two weeks in Phuket is not always the answer for three months in Isaan.
Bring a small personal first aid kit regardless. Minor cuts that would heal in a day at home take longer in constant heat and humidity.
Worth knowing
Nothing on this page is medical advice. Confirm everything with a qualified clinician.
