What it means
A Muay Thai stadium. They range from the two famous Bangkok venues to a concrete ring under a tin roof at the edge of a provincial town, and both are worth going to.
The big Bangkok stadiums run to a schedule and sell tickets to tourists at a separate rate. Local shows are cheaper, harder to find out about and often better fights.
Ask at your camp. Someone there is fighting somewhere most weeks, and going to watch a training partner is a far better night than going alone to a tourist show.
