Camp against camp

Bangkok Fight Lab or Kiatphontip Gym

Two camps in Bangkok, set against each other on what each one publishes about itself. Nothing below is our opinion of either.

Bangkok Fight Lab

Every figure includes 7 percent VAT and there is no contract. The month is the Hardcore Striking membership; all access across striking and grappling is 6,500 a month or 66,000 a year. A day pass is 1,100 and three days 2,750. A first class is 600 and comes off a membership bought the same day. The gym is an authorised DTV sponsor and sells visa packages at 30,000 for six months and 53,600 for a year.

Kiatphontip Gym

Two sessions a day Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 09:00 and 15:30 to 18:00, with Sunday off. Mornings run, shadow box, work the bags and pads and finish on conditioning, with boxing and sparring on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Afternoons add up to an hour of clinch. The private line stays blank because the camp publishes no private rate. The nightly room line stays blank because a room is only sold inside a Train and Stay package with training and two meals a day: a week is 8,900, two weeks 16,500, three weeks 24,000, a month 31,000 and three months 87,000 in a standard room, and 10,000, 18,000, 26,000, 32,000 and 90,000 in a deluxe room. Training without a room runs 400 a session, 700 for two sessions in one day, 4,000 a week, 7,000 for two weeks, 12,000 a month and 23,000 for two months.

Against the country

Each line runs from the cheapest figure listed camps print for that rate to the dearest, with Bangkok Fight Lab marked above the line, Kiatphontip Gym below it and the stretch between them inked. In baht, Bangkok Fight Lab first, then Kiatphontip Gym: one group session at 600 and 400, 200 apart inside a run of 550 that 31 of 44 listed camps print; a week, unlimited at 3,850 and 4,000, 150 apart inside a run of 3,700 that 21 of 44 listed camps print; a month, unlimited at 4,600 and 12,000, 7,400 apart inside a run of 14,001 that 26 of 44 listed camps print. Rates only one of the two publishes are left out, because a line carrying one mark says nothing about two camps.

They quote the same figure on one line: takes beginners.

What we cannot tell you yet

Neither camp has been confirmed on the lines below, so this page does not compare them. They are named rather than left off, because a comparison that only shows the fields it happens to hold is the shape of a page pretending to be complete.

In their own words

What each camp is

Bangkok Fight Lab

A city gym two minutes from On Nut BTS that leads with Brazilian jiu-jitsu and runs Muay Thai alongside it, rather than the other way round. That makes it a poor substitute for a traditional Thai camp and a good fit for anyone living in Bangkok who wants more than one art on the same membership. Its own site says beginners are welcome, and there are kids classes and private sessions.

The full record for Bangkok Fight Lab

Kiatphontip Gym

A family camp on the quiet western edge of Bangkok, running since 2008, where visitors train in the same two sessions as the resident Thai fight team and a room is sold inside the stay rather than by the night. Suits someone who wants a small camp and a fixed daily rhythm more than someone who wants to be in the middle of the city.

What people ask about Bangkok Fight Lab and Kiatphontip Gym

Every figure below is read off the two records at build time rather than written by hand, so a question neither camp has published anything behind is left out instead of answered softly.
Is Bangkok Fight Lab or Kiatphontip Gym cheaper?
Bangkok Fight Lab, on the line most trips are booked on. A month of unlimited training is 4,600 baht there against 12,000 baht at Kiatphontip Gym, a gap of 7,400 baht. They both quote 2 other priced lines, and Bangkok Fight Lab is lower on one and Kiatphontip Gym is lower on one. A cheaper month is not a cheaper trip. Food, a room where the camp has none and the flight home all sit outside these figures, and a camp that is 2,000 baht dearer a month is the cheaper of the two the moment it saves you a daily taxi.
What is the difference between Bangkok Fight Lab and Kiatphontip Gym?
3 of the 4 lines both camps publish come out different: a single group session, a week of unlimited training and a month of unlimited training. They match on whether beginners are taken. Bangkok Fight Lab publishes a private session, and Kiatphontip Gym publishes how many sessions a day run and whether there are rooms on site. What separates two camps on the mats is the trainer you get put with, and no camp publishes that. Use the lines above to cut the list down, then ask both.
Is Bangkok Fight Lab or Kiatphontip Gym better for a beginner?
Both. Bangkok Fight Lab and Kiatphontip Gym each read as a room somebody who has never trained can walk into. That is a call made at a desk from what each camp publishes about who it trains, not a verdict from the mats. A gym built around a fight team will take a beginner's money and leave them holding pads at the back for a month, so ask both how a first session actually runs before you book either.
Can you stay at Bangkok Fight Lab or Kiatphontip Gym?
Kiatphontip Gym says you can sleep at the camp. Bangkok Fight Lab publishes nothing either way, so that line stays blank. Neither nightly rate is published, so the room line stays blank rather than get estimated off camps elsewhere that do print one. Staying in means the commute stops being a decision you make twice a day at five in the morning, which matters more than the saving on most trips shorter than a month.
How far apart are Bangkok Fight Lab and Kiatphontip Gym?
About 31 km in a straight line, measured between the two pins rather than along a road, so a motorbike covers more ground than that and traffic decides the rest. Both camps sit in Bangkok. That is a ride rather than a walk, so trying both in one trip means picking a base and paying to cross, or splitting the stay in two.

Trained at either? Correct us.

Every figure on this page came off a camp’s own website. Bangkok Fight Lab was read on 2026-09-02 and Kiatphontip Gym on 2026-10-14. Camps change prices without changing the page the price is printed on. If one of these is wrong, or if you know a line neither camp publishes, tell us and we will date the change.
