Camp against camp
Sityodtong Pattaya or Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym
Two camps in Pattaya, set against each other on what each one publishes about itself. Nothing below is our opinion of either.
Sityodtong Pattaya
Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym
The short version
A month of unlimited training is 13,000 THB at Sityodtong Pattaya and 9,000 THB at Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym. They line up on 4 of the lines both camps publish.

Sityodtong Pattaya
The month is the two sessions a day package; one session a day is 7,000. A single session is 400 and two on the same day 800. The private is a from price: the camp publishes 800 and up depending on the trainer. There is no week rate and no nightly room rate, because housing is sold inside the four week fight camp at 35,000, which runs two training and two pad sessions a day six days a week and ends with a fight at Max Muay Thai. The timetable is 8 to 10.30 and 3 to 6, Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.
Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym
The two a day tiers above are the whole timetable: the gym runs two group sessions, 08:00 to 11:00 and 16:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday, so training both is training everything it holds. One a day is cheaper and published separately, at 1,800 a week and 6,000 a month, and a single day is 400 for one session or 600 for two. No private rate and no room appear on the price list, so both of those lines stay blank.
Against the country
They quote the same figure on 3 lines: one group session, sessions a day and takes beginners.

What we cannot tell you yet
Neither camp has been confirmed on the lines below, so this page does not compare them. They are named rather than left off, because a comparison that only shows the fields it happens to hold is the shape of a page pretending to be complete.

What each camp is
Sityodtong Pattaya
One of the historically significant names in Muay Thai, with a lineage that long predates the training-holiday market. Traditional in approach rather than resort-styled, and priced accordingly: a session here costs half what the resort centre up the road charges.
The full record for Sityodtong PattayaSudsakorn Muay Thai Gym
The gym of Sudsakorn Klinmee, who runs it himself. Two group sessions a day, six days a week, with a five hour gap in the middle of the day and nothing on Sunday, which suits a working schedule better than it suits a fight camp. The published ladder prices one session a day separately from two, so a lighter week costs less here than at a camp selling nothing but unlimited.

What people ask about Sityodtong Pattaya and Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym
- Is Sityodtong Pattaya or Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym cheaper?
- Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym, on the line most trips are booked on. A month of unlimited training is 9,000 baht there against 13,000 baht at Sityodtong Pattaya, a gap of 4,000 baht. They both quote one other priced line, and one comes out level. A cheaper month is not a cheaper trip. Food, a room where the camp has none and the flight home all sit outside these figures, and a camp that is 2,000 baht dearer a month is the cheaper of the two the moment it saves you a daily taxi.
- What is the difference between Sityodtong Pattaya and Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym?
- One of the 4 lines both camps publish comes out different: a month of unlimited training. They match on a single group session, how many sessions a day run and whether beginners are taken. Sityodtong Pattaya publishes a private session and whether there are rooms on site, and Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym publishes a week of unlimited training. What separates two camps on the mats is the trainer you get put with, and no camp publishes that. Use the lines above to cut the list down, then ask both.
- Is Sityodtong Pattaya or Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym better for a beginner?
- Both. Sityodtong Pattaya and Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym each read as a room somebody who has never trained can walk into. That is a call made at a desk from what each camp publishes about who it trains, not a verdict from the mats. A gym built around a fight team will take a beginner's money and leave them holding pads at the back for a month, so ask both how a first session actually runs before you book either.
- Can you stay at Sityodtong Pattaya or Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym?
- Sityodtong Pattaya says you can sleep at the camp. Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym publishes nothing either way, so that line stays blank. Neither nightly rate is published, so the room line stays blank rather than get estimated off camps elsewhere that do print one. Staying in means the commute stops being a decision you make twice a day at five in the morning, which matters more than the saving on most trips shorter than a month.
- How many sessions a day do Sityodtong Pattaya and Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym run?
- The same number. Sityodtong Pattaya and Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym both run 2 sessions a day. That is how many are on offer and not how many anybody should plan on taking. A timetable says when the door is open; how many times you walk through it is most of the difference between a training holiday and a camp, and a first week of doubles is how people spend a second week injured.
- How far apart are Sityodtong Pattaya and Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym?
- About 1.6 km in a straight line, measured between the two pins rather than along a road, so a motorbike covers more ground than that and traffic decides the rest. Both camps sit in Pattaya. That is close enough to walk, so a trial session at each one inside a single week costs you nothing but the drop-in rate.
