Camp against camp

E.N. Muaythai Gym or Honour Muay Thai

Two camps in Krabi, set against each other on what each one publishes about itself. Nothing below is our opinion of either.

The short version

A single group session is 400 THB at E.N. Muaythai Gym and 500 THB at Honour Muay Thai. They line up on 3 of the lines both camps publish.

E.N. Muaythai Gym

A single class is 400 and a one-day pass covering both sessions is 600. No week or month rate is published. The only private figure on the site is 1,200 an hour for two students sharing one coach, so there is no one-to-one rate to quote. Sessions run 08:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday.

Honour Muay Thai

Daily training is the only thing priced: 500 for one session a day and 800 for two. No week, month or private rate is published, and the rooms next to the gym are described without a figure. The one other printed line is equipment, a starter bundle at 4,800 to buy or rented by the week, 800 for one week rising to 2,300 for four.

Against the country

Each line runs from the cheapest figure listed camps print for that rate to the dearest, with E.N. Muaythai Gym marked above the line, Honour Muay Thai below it and the stretch between them inked. In baht, E.N. Muaythai Gym first, then Honour Muay Thai: one group session at 400 and 500, 100 apart inside a run of 550 that 31 of 44 listed camps print. Rates only one of the two publishes are left out, because a line carrying one mark says nothing about two camps.

They quote the same figure on 2 lines: sessions a day and takes beginners.

Not settled here

What we cannot tell you yet

Neither camp has been confirmed on the lines below, so this page does not compare them. They are named rather than left off, because a comparison that only shows the fields it happens to hold is the shape of a page pretending to be complete.

  • A month, unlimited
  • One private
  • Room, per night

In their own words

What each camp is

E.N. Muaythai Gym

Two two-hour sessions a day, six days a week, and a price list three lines long: a class, a day pass, and a private for two students sharing one coach. No week or month rate makes a long stay awkward to budget, and the gym has no accommodation of its own. It reads as the daily training option for somebody already staying in Ao Nang.

The full record for E.N. Muaythai Gym

Honour Muay Thai

A small Ao Nang gym that publishes a daily rate and nothing else: train once a day or twice, and pay by the day. There is no week, month or private price on the site, and the rooms beside the gym are quoted on request, so the cost of a long stay has to be asked for rather than read. Suits somebody already in Ao Nang who wants to train while they are there more than somebody planning a month around a camp.

What people ask about E.N. Muaythai Gym and Honour Muay Thai

Every figure below is read off the two records at build time rather than written by hand, so a question neither camp has published anything behind is left out instead of answered softly.
Is E.N. Muaythai Gym or Honour Muay Thai cheaper?
E.N. Muaythai Gym, on the line most trips are booked on. A single group session is 400 baht there against 500 baht at Honour Muay Thai, a gap of 100 baht. A cheaper month is not a cheaper trip. Food, a room where the camp has none and the flight home all sit outside these figures, and a camp that is 2,000 baht dearer a month is the cheaper of the two the moment it saves you a daily taxi.
What is the difference between E.N. Muaythai Gym and Honour Muay Thai?
One of the 3 lines both camps publish comes out different: a single group session. They match on how many sessions a day run and whether beginners are taken. Honour Muay Thai publishes whether there are rooms on site and E.N. Muaythai Gym does not. What separates two camps on the mats is the trainer you get put with, and no camp publishes that. Use the lines above to cut the list down, then ask both.
Is E.N. Muaythai Gym or Honour Muay Thai better for a beginner?
Both. E.N. Muaythai Gym and Honour Muay Thai each read as a room somebody who has never trained can walk into. That is a call made at a desk from what each camp publishes about who it trains, not a verdict from the mats. A gym built around a fight team will take a beginner's money and leave them holding pads at the back for a month, so ask both how a first session actually runs before you book either.
Can you stay at E.N. Muaythai Gym or Honour Muay Thai?
Honour Muay Thai says you can sleep at the camp. E.N. Muaythai Gym publishes nothing either way, so that line stays blank. Neither nightly rate is published, so the room line stays blank rather than get estimated off camps elsewhere that do print one. Staying in means the commute stops being a decision you make twice a day at five in the morning, which matters more than the saving on most trips shorter than a month.
How many sessions a day do E.N. Muaythai Gym and Honour Muay Thai run?
The same number. E.N. Muaythai Gym and Honour Muay Thai both run 2 sessions a day. That is how many are on offer and not how many anybody should plan on taking. A timetable says when the door is open; how many times you walk through it is most of the difference between a training holiday and a camp, and a first week of doubles is how people spend a second week injured.
How far apart are E.N. Muaythai Gym and Honour Muay Thai?
About 1.3 km in a straight line, measured between the two pins rather than along a road, so a motorbike covers more ground than that and traffic decides the rest. Both camps sit in Krabi. That is close enough to walk, so a trial session at each one inside a single week costs you nothing but the drop-in rate.

Every figure on this page came off a camp’s own website on 2026-10-14. Camps change prices without changing the page the price is printed on. If one of these is wrong, or if you know a line neither camp publishes, tell us and we will date the change.
